Dracula - The Musical San Jose Theatre reviews
DMB, simply amazing!!!
Wow, Dave was awesome! As expected, he has the most wonderful stage presence. His new trumpet player, however, doesn't. He did a wonderful job, doesn't mean he is not talented. He just looked like he was being forced to be there and didn't really like the music. Boyd Tinsley, do I really need to say anything? He seemed a little on the outside of the group until his solo. Boy is he good! That is a wonderful man! WOW! At the end of the concert, he and Dave shook hands, and Boyd patted Dave on the back. I knew all was well in their world. Carter Beauford, awesome musician. He consistently seems to love life and the world and his music. So happy all the time! At the end of the concert, he threw out a whole bunch of drumsticks. I didn't get one, so sad, but oh well. Stephan, so smooth, so mysterious, so Stephan-like! Timmy Reynolds, it was an honor to be in the audience while he played. The saxophonist, I think he likes his job. He's new to the group and seemed a little on the fringes, but it will be ok. The opener, Gregg Allmend, sorry man, he's not Dave. Wasn't so thrilled he was the chosen performer, but he did surprise me. The music wasn't horrible like I thought it would be. I love it when I am wrong for the better! Hopefully, I will definitely go to more DMB concerts, one's earlier in the tour so they have more sizes in the women's zippered polo that I wanted and didn't get because I'm human-sized.
